A police officer was shot dead, and two others were seriously injured after five men opened gunfire outside the Houses of Parliament in central London at 3:37 am today.

Police have sealed off Parliament Square to traffic and pedestrians, and now hunting down the suspects, who were all wearing a red and black flag on their upper arm.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said, “We believe that this attack was aimed at Parliament itself.”

Home Secretary Priti Patel said, “This is a sad loss but offices responded bravely, and we thank them for their courage in this violent act of treason.”

Political blogger James Baker, blamed the Revolutionary Brotherhood, a far-left group, however M16 have refused to comment.
